Actually there are lots of rivers that never reach a sea or even a lake.
Some just drain into a sink hole and disappear underground others like one in India just dry up before reaching any lake sea or pond think it is called Luna or lunie

Then there is one in Africa that drains into a small swampy area in a desert

And I understand the famous Colorado often never makes it to the sea.

Lots of other examples all over the world
