Columbus day was started in 1866 by Italian immigrats to show they belonged in America and kept having the parade long enough the people who hated them all died off and nobody remembered they were the new folks at one time.
Italian Americans are super upset about Columbus day disappearing.
How is one towns slavic pride festival different than a another towns lgbt pride festival?
