For white mold it is important to kill the spores before they infect the flowers. If there are no mushrooms shooting out spores then might be a little too early. I am leaning towards the early pin pod/60-100% bloom timing and 2sprays.
For other leaf diseases, I agree if it is wet, let er rip.
