I had a hard time canceling DirecTV about 10 years ago.  They were upwards of $160/month for our service and that didn't include any upgrades like HBO, Stars, etc.  When I called to cancel they started dropping the price.  I explained to them that I had called twice in the past few months looking for a better plan but "I already had the best available" and they could offer it for $10/month and I would still be canceling.  Unfortunately we still spend too much on TV/Streaming services.
