| If you have a 12 or 20 gauge auto shotgun put some cheap clay loads in it.
410 we have kicks pretty hard and you better be a good shot. You can get 22 shot shells but they won’t kill a coon.
The also make some home defnece shot shells made to not penetrate a wall, but I’m not sure those would kill a coon either. Maybe worth a try though. They are like 1.75” shells so you can get a lot more in there. Not sure how they feed either.
They do make 45 shot shells but I’m not sure if they are any good for anything but rats and snakes.
