SW WI | In the last pic you can see road pitches from right to left. Water followed the pitch of the road about 100ft then dumped across at my bins...not even a low driveway there, just lowest point.
There is a ditch to handle road runoff....but not as much as that drainage ditch was putting out.
It's just not true to say ALL debris was my neighbors...although, mostly. So impossible to really hold him liable. Of course he is the type that goes after anyone else if run off road during snow or ice and chew up any portion of his land.
Silver lining is I'm somewhat glad the roles aren't reversed....I would be getting a call from his lawyer threatening me to take my farm.
