| I have been stripping with a shank machine anywhere from 2 week to a month Before planting. only putting 150 to 200lbs of product. say like 50lbs dap. 50lbs potash ans 50lbs ams. also have alway got a rain before planting to settle the strip and melt the fertilizer. the same field that got stripped last year is min/conventional this year. I pulled a straight shank ripper and a turbo till then planted. it is tolerating the heat better. plants greener longer and ears still up. also these fields are only 3 miles apart.
