| I was advised not to go higher and burn roots since so close to planting. yes I am in a hot dry part of oklahoma but these fields were within an inch of each other for the year. extra N is in 2x2x2 as well as y drop later.
you may disagree but all my tillage takes places weeks to 2 months prior to planting and in all cases gets 1-2 inch of rain to settle everything before planting regardless of practice
I need to strip every other pass of a field next year I guess and see if it happens again or if their is a yield difference. if the strip till is not providing a yield bump I'll stop it. | |
