Central Indiana | Chopper will be in the area next week and will spray it all with Veltyma and a few foliars. If I had normal 200bu corn probably wouldn’t waste the money but have some really nice looking corn this year and hate not to give it everything it needs. No one knows the end yield yet or what ending stocks will be when this crop is in the bin next year. Could go up 2 bucks and then it’s a shoulda coulda woulda. Now if I had to borrow the money at high interest to pay for it probably be talking a different ball game. Unfortunately that’s the chance we take with the crop and when it looks good it’s easy to throw money at it but when it’s average or below there’s not much ambition to see just how much a guy can sink into it.
