Have a field planted to soybeans, that has never been planted to soybeans before. So no natural rhizobia in the soil of this field.
Did inoculate the seed. But only once, not doubled.
Pleasantly surprised to see the beans were fairly well nodulated. But they were definitely a paler green than the beans across the road. So I decided to run one strip of 28% across the field. Ran 25 gallons of a 9 units of 28% to one unit of thiosul solution. I did the application via Y-dropping. My Y-drop setup is only puts the nitrogen on one side of the row, not both. That was a week ago. Currently, don't see anything different about that strip... good or bad.
Will see how that strip performs compared to the strips on either side of it. If I can remember.... I'll let y'all know the results this fall.
