Any seeded melon will work. We grow a few seedless yellow melons. We can’t hardly sell a seeded melon so we use the pollinator plants like wingman or ace. They have a huge amount of male flowers and produce only a fist size melon. If you’re planting a seeded pollinator every 3rd or 4th plant that’s a lot of seeded melons to find a home for. These new pollinators don’t compete with your seedless melons or seem to affect yield . They only produce a fist size melon that’s inedible and not really noticeable in the patch at picking time. Good luck, Melons are fun, what a great project for your son.
