| Talked to farmer about is hay crop. First cutting was great and then it rained a lot and his second cutting hay which was alfalfa did poorly because it was too wet. So too much rain is effecting both beans and alfalfa. I guess if it is too wet, nitrogen can not get in the soil to be converted to products the crop can use. Does not matter what nitrogen fixing organisms the plant uses if the soil conditions are not right for them to work.
Dumb question. On corn and beans the organisms come back when conditions are right. Does that happen with Pivot Bio? | |
