Central Kansas | We did find the problem. There were wires that the insulation had degraded and so some wires were shorting out. They were located under the front left corner of cab, a three wire harness connector. When I told the local mechanic what we found he said that we really need to change the transmission wiring harness to take care of the issue permanently, which is what we plan to do after this years fieldwork. The mechanic told me that this is a common problem of a certain time frame or something that there must have been a batch of bad harnesses that degrade if they get oily.
Again thanks everyone for the help!
