We would have gotten in a lot of trouble for wasting eggs!
However we did have an orchard and any fruit that hit the ground and was rotten was fair game. My older brothers and neighbor kids had rotten apple fights. I would get involved till I got hit hard and would go crying to mom (I was probably about 5) then they would get scolded and continue on with the rotten apple fight.
