 Chebanse, IL..... | I don't know much about the Exo drones, other than I've seen them advertised for quite some time. But, I'd be concerned about their advertised distance of 1/2 mile! That's not even to the other end of a 160A field. But, maybe there's more to their story.
I would look into one of the smaller DJI drones. It's hard to go wrong with their products. You can get into one of their smaller drones that takes good pictures and is somewhat easy to fly. Looks like it would actually be cheaper than the Exo drone, if you consider the spare batteries. One battery is definitely not enough. Most of the small DJIs advertise 6+ mile range (reception?). You can also buy refurbished DJI units from either Amazon or DJI themselves. These are often units that have been returned for some reason other than defective flying. Any of the smaller drones need to be concerned about the maximum wind speed they're flown in.
