WC IL | Had about a foot removed 22 years ago when it perforated from diverticulitis while I was in the hospital (lucky). Had an ostomy for 3 months then they hooked it back together. Had about a 9” incision below my belly button. Had some problems getting my digestive system restarted after the first surgery, mostly because they had to wash out my insides. Took about 3 weeks after the reconnect for things to really work right. Had that surgery on March 16 and I was able to plant my crops that spring. | |
