1). The Raven 660 controller appears to be a 440 at first glance but has more programming choices. One of these choices is GRANular. This choice can be used when the quantities are large such as manure or Granular fertilizer.
2). Another trick is to use a 440 like a spray controller but use a very large cal for the flow Meter Cal. We used a meter cal that was very large. In our case if the Raven indicated 6.3, we knew that meant 6.3 thousands = 6300 GPA (Mentally move the decimal point 3 places to the right). |
