I suspect, but I don't know, dairy consumption is the stumbling block for my wife to lose the last weight she would like to. Cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, heavy cream and probably something I am forgetting. That group is definitely a daily consumption and often more than just one of them. Concentrated dairy fat like that can add a lot of calories quickly to a meat diet where the lean meat portion takes almost as much energy to digest it as it provides in energy unless a person is also eating high fat. Fat is the energy production portion of meat, which you already know but others might not.
