My wife and I are in the same boat. Three granddaughters aged 14, 11 and 6. We never miss an event. Basketball, softball, cross country and most recently quiz bowl. Dinner every Sunday night for the entire family. All live withing 5 minutes of us so they are here all the time. We have a pool so the oldest two are here about everyday swimming and riding 4 wheelers. You can never spend too much time with them. I see grandparents that don't have time because of golf or tavern hopping to spend with their grandkids. Then after the kids become teenagers, they wonder why the kids don't have time for them.
