SW Minnesota | If you got the calf filled up with colostrum you have some time. If it led to the tit and nursed for you in the chute I would be pretty confident it will figure it out.
Hopefully cows attitude gets better as things shrink back to normal. If not she probably needs a trailer ride after weaning.
I’ll tolerate a little attitude the first few hours after calving. Beyond that it’s not worth it. A lot my cows behave differently after calving till they clean. Seems like once they clean they are back to normal.
