Alpena MI
We banded 20 or so bulls this year that were from 600 to 1100 lbs. Callicrate Pro and a shot of CD&T at banding. We've never tried slitting the sack. The only bulls that we had trouble with were some that were banded at the salebarn by somebody that didn't know what they were doing, using a California bander. Long story short, they didn't get the bands as tight they should have and one got majorly infected. Our vet said "You paid somebody to do this!?" when he came to check them out. They all made it through and are doing well though.
