I kind of like the letting boss farm it for a year or to. Do you have attorney? Might be good to run this by him. I’m afraid if you plant it that she will want her half and you’ll be stuck with all the expenses. Does she have to sign at fsa office? Will she let boss farm the land? Is she on crop ins policy? If so and she won’t let boss rent it then cheapest crop possible and get operating line of credit so the sells of the crop has to go to bank first.
