Your tests were similar to what I noticed last year. I switched all my corn to strip till, but left one 3rd of a field where the same amount of fert was broadcast and I hit it with a field cultivator about 4" deep. The strip till was dry banded about 6-7in deep. Strip till was on average 10bu/a better than the "conventional"
