Around here KFC is often combined with a A&W franchise. There is one about 2 miles away, but I have never eaten there. There is always a line at the drive-through.
Years ago, when stationed in Japan, I thought it was funny to see a statue of Colonel Sanders standing on the sidewalk in front of a KFC in Japan.
Here they are KFC/Taco Bell. I might grab something from the Taco Bell side every few weeks or a month for lunch because it’s quick and not out of the way.
For fried chicken there’s a lot better choices out there. Slim Chickens, Raising Canes, Guthrie, Popeyes.. in Memphis we have a Gus’s that’s a local place and it’s the best around. |
