Northeast Indiana | Laudis is generally what we've used instead of capreno, but I was disappointed with our grass control last year on some new ground, so I'm going to go with capreno this year. Are you just adding enlist to your mix that you normally run? I know it obviously isn't going to help with grasses, but curious if you're adding it to your mix for help with certain broadleaves, or if you're not even using it at all? I like the trait bc I don't have to worry about a late burn down or pre-emerge affecting corn since it can ding corn at times, but for post application, is there any reasons to add it and change up our normal mix?
Edit: Another bonus is if going in late for something that escapes, and you're running drops, it gives you some reassurance that you won't hurt the corn. We've had some trouble with burr-cucumber late season, and I feel better about going in and spraying 2,4-d with drops and not worrying about hurting corn yields due to missapplication.
