I have a $4.50 biological product that can be sprayed on like a fungicide and it will boost your yields. I used it on my alfalfa last year and you could see the line all season on where I sprayed and didn't spray. If you want a little more boost, you can put some on super early and then put the rest on when you would normally spray fungicide.
