Saronville NE | Gave strip till up 3 yrs ago. Our yields were lacking or going backwards. We're putting 32% on in strip with phos. Only putting half on the side dressing rest. Coc for several yrs. No where to keep moving trash.
Went to hitting with VT machine in fall. Coulter injection liquid and plant between Coulters and our yields are up over 20 bpa vs strip till. I'm not making anymore passes then before. And making faster passes then before also.
Know of couple others who have gone away from it also.
Several here are still doing it but went away from doing fertilizer with it. Just making strip. | |
