| I have a John Deere 7400 with shifting issues. You almost always have to shift to forward 4 and let it engage then power shift down to the lower forward gears. Once engaged you can power shift amongst the forward gears fine. Shifting to reverse then back to forward helps sometimes. This tractor has been to my dealer a couple of times for this issue and always seems to return to giving problems over time. I have a couple of mechanically inclined guys around now that may can tackle anything short of breaking it apart. Any suggestions? | |
