Central Ill-Tremont | Not understanding your problem , does it have powerquad ?
Had a 1993 7400 with powerquad that worked flawlessly except would jump out of A range first couple times put it into A. Tried a couple times to get a few Deere mechanics to simply adjust the linkage but never got anywhere. Finally took a die grinder with a carbide cutter in it and lengthened the shifting slot going into A about 3/16 so that the gears were more fully engaged and that ended the problem. Would have had to look awfully close to know what was done . | |
