Nice points.

I am surprised you don’t need a fungicide, the rust has really been bad on oats these wet years. Not enough breeder money for them to keep ahead if it with variety selection it seems.

Test weight is my downfall. But I’m only a hobby oat grower, 10 acres or so. I should try those short oats, but I kinda like the straw value.

Had you tried swathing, or is straight combining the only way to go for you?
