Subject: Genetics question: Baldies and solid color calves

perryton, tx
These are F1 baldies, Hereford cow X Red or Black Angus bull. They themselves were bred to black Angus bull. The Red Baldie is a second calver, the other two are first timers. There’s not a trace of Hereford influence in any of the calves, and I have a handful more of the same example in the herd. Is the Angus influence so strong that it completely cancels out the Hereford influence? I’d think these calves would have some white somewhere.
