I have a lot of equipment in the same situation, as smaller operator. I change most oil and filters once a year, but I don't buy the most expensive oil. The higher priced oils usually advertise longer change intervals. I buy the cheapest name brand oil I can get. Lately it's been Mobil 1300 super at $14 a gallon.
