If everyone drain all the wetlands there would be none left and that could have a complete serveer effect on ecosystem. Not for the government telling me what to do but sometimes we do need a little restraint.


Even if they opened up drainage, there's millions of acres that would never be drained, neighbors could never come together to put in the massive ditches it would take to get ride of water cause they are all afraid farmer A might gain 2 acres more than farmer B so some stuff would get drained but to think everything would get drained is an absolute pipe dream!!


It amazes me how a certain entity in your area gets enough farmers together to do the ditch projects they have gotten done.
