| I have seen some engines that would run many multiples of a regular oil change and would still test good.
I had a guy pulling for me that used an after market filter and synthetic oil. I think he said he had 100,000 miles and was still good.
Of course , there was also the guy who figured no need to change oil. He pulled for me for 2 years and I bet that truck had never had the oil changed.
