The exhaust all exits out the one end. Our oval shaped muffler has a pretty small outlet, probably 2" +/-? Intake manifold is square, air from the aircleaner comes into the center of the Intake manifold. Looks like a 4320/4430 Intake manifold. No aircleaner stack.

Never heard a lisp, runs 100% at any rpm. Very snappy sounding, has the good stuff in the injector pump. 30% over factory fuel setting. 120 hp @ 1000 pto rpm. It runs way better than the early round muffler tractors. I personally don't like them for several reasons. Lazy engines for one.

Never been around a 69' model that I can recall. Used to work for a farmer 35 years ago that had an early 3020, and two early 4020 tractors. Pretty familiar with those.
