Agree. If I stacked that way I could justify a hay shed by estimating a 50% loss of the value of the hay I produce.
My operation is small enough that bales of hay stored outside are on old pallets. Not corn stalks, but I rotate them onto pallet a week or so before use.
I would be interested in the biodegradable net wrap if it works out.
