Subject: RE: Slectro Row shut offs with greenstar

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Several years ago when I worked as a Tech, I made a wiring harness so that an Ag Leader display and Clutch Control Module could be used with Selectro.

As others have mentioned, the Selectro arms/wheels take a fair amount of power to activate so the electrical load is often more than the modules can handle. This is where the relays came in.

I used relays so the Ag Leader module only had the electrical load of the relay coils which it can handle easily. The actual electrical load of moving the arm and wheel was handled by a drect connection to the vehicle battery.

Seems like the last time I looked, Selectro had what they called a GPS model that included the relays and could be run by different brands of section control devices. I think it would be worth the effort to check with them.
