IA/MN/WI | Yes, I am assuming the OP isn't a moron. It takes less than 2 minutes to create a multi input zone map on 5 years of yield data and limit your zones to whatever acre minimum you desire. If you really want to add more data to the map add in a yield potential layer based on soil texture and slope and be done with it.
You definitely don't need 20 years of yield maps to be accurate, if that was the case 90% of the farmers doing population scripts today wouldn't have enough data. It's as simple or as complicated as you want to make it. In the case of this guy, he already knows basically what he wants, it's not rocket science. | |
