You will learn how often one of the wheels is in the air, and then you only have 1 wheel driving and it will slip pulling the drives. And it happens often enough both drive wheels are actually in the air by a quarter inch and not pulling.
I used to drive 5 miles to plant 5 acres, I would only hook up 2 chains to plant that little bit. Not a big deal on 5 acres or in beans, but it was something you could see in corn.
