NCKS | That's why we dont grow it anymore. The added stress at harvest and having to stop the planter when its too windy to spray. Those years you're cutting 80bu milo and 140bu corn on the same type of ground doesn't help. It's a nice 3rd crop if youve got time for it. It can hit when nothing else does like last year so it spreads out risk. For us we had to cut it out because of logistics primarily, but there's also a long list of why we dont WANT to grow it. | |
