I use a 30' Schulte mower. I've been very happy with it and its covered a lot of acres.
After winter the straw has broken down quite a bit and mows much better. I can move right along with it, 8 MPH is common. I try to prioritize mowing my fields with the heaviest straw before my first herbicide application in May. The rest gets mowed after, when I have plenty of time.
