Get an estimate for the overhaul and then decide. Also find out what the warranty will be just doing the top end as well as the overhaul. It’s probably going to be scary expensive at the dealership. A little late now but do you have a reputable independent shop locally? If it were mine I wouldn’t even consider not overhauling it but it would also be done in my own shop. If you decide to overhaul it I would leave the cam alone unless you find something wrong with it. Newer stuff isn’t as good.
