My brother used to haul 1,000 bushel loads of soybeans from Baldwyn, MS to Marks, MS with an Emoryville with a 238 and a 10 speed. That was back when all of Rte 6 was still two lane. He actually got a speeding ticket once - when he was loaded. 72 mph in a 55. He told the officer, "If you had just waited and clocked me going up the next hill and averaged my speed it would be well below the limit." Officer didn't see it that way.

After that he got a "Large Car" - COE White Freightliner with a 318 and a 13 speed. That's the one he used to teach me to drive a semi. Those were the days! :-)
