Minnesota | I have my boundaries recorded for my fields. They are recorded the boundaries based on where I want the planter to run when I make guidance lines off the boundary.
My question is how to use the pro700 "field" swath guidance to make headlands off the boundary for my field cultivator when the actual width of the machine is wider than the working width? My cultivator is technically 44.5 ft and the rolling basket sticks out beyond that....but, we use 43.5 for the swath width.
If I use the headland guidance off a boundary in field swath, it says that it will set the guidance 1/2 the working width from the boundary. What can I do to correct for the extra width of the field cultivator that hangs out past the actual working width? Do I have to just nudge on the first pass?
Thank you! | |
