Us government propping up of ethanol certainly has driven prices up globally
The US govt has done more to artificially keep the price of corn down
(through subsidies and bogus USDA reports
) than what ethanol has done to keep the prices of corn up.
Try again, I'm looking for something along the lines of the US blocking exports to China like China has done by blocking imports from the US. Not just placing tariffs on, completely blocking certain imports with the purpose of crashing the market, after the market crashes they resume buying at a severely discounted price. China has been playing that game for decades.
So what's the announcement of tariffs today?
