Chatham Ontario. | Not that I think the tariff situation has been thoroughly thought out, but if Trump wants to bring in the largest cash haul with tariffs, he has to hit big and hit fast. World trade is going to shift just as fast. Trade with the US is likely to see a decline because everyone in the world is affected.
I also am of the opinion that the tariff situation has just handed China a massive gift. They have stolen enough technology and intellectual property, they can duplicate about anything built by the US ( though it might be poorly made) and ship straight to any country in the world.
