50,000 gal/ac ? Is this number for real? Are you talking "real" dairy manure, or are you talking about "brown water" - very weak concentrations of dairy manure in lots of water? what kind of analysis/ concentration are you talking about here?

I think dairy manure is good, but it has to be used within reason. Here we have to based manure applications on what the crop can utilize - Nitrogen, and sometime Phosphorus. And..... single applications are limited to the volume of liquid the soil can absorb. Guideline here is no more than 8000-9000 gal in any one application.
If you are talking 50,000/acre, you must be talking about irrigating it..... in multiple applications ?
