E.Central MN | Its a lot of bushels, but the flip side is we don't have all those bushels left over from last year. Plus there are more ethanol plants spread out across the corn belt that use a lot of corn every day. The big increase in corn seems to be down in cotton country where they have a better basis by virtue of being closer to the gulf. I wouldn't want to be sitting with all my crop unpriced and no where to store any of it, but I doubt many are. Some of that corn may have to stand out in the field a while if theres just too much of it(wishful thinking). | |
