North Central Oklahoma | Could some of you from the Dakota's tell us what your cash canola price is. Also, how do you market it? Do you sell at the local grain elevator, or do you have special niche markets?
We are located in Oklahoma and are being told that we can contract for local delivery at 12 - 12.6 cents/lbs. I would like to grow it, but there is not enough margin versus $6.00 wheat. I assume that our middle man knows that we have a limited market and is trying to exploit this.
