Interest rates on loans are not the best, but they are as good as can be expected at this time in my opinion.  I would lock in a rate that looks reasonable for the next 3-5 years.  If interest rates improve in the next 2-5 years, you can always refinance with the same lender or get a different lender if the rates are lower buy more than 1%.  JMHO  It has worked for me in the past.
